Where your birth details go
Matching charts for a marriage is a private matter, so nothing here will be left vague. What you enter stays with us. This page says exactly what is kept, why it is kept, who sees it, and how to ask for it to be removed.
What is kept
Everything you type into the form — both names, each side’s date of birth, time and place, the coordinates of that place and its timezone. Along with those we keep which language was chosen, the date and time the matching was run, and what came out of it — the guna score and the verdict. That is all; the matching never asks for an email, a phone number or a password. (The PDF payment is covered separately below.) The city list still lives in your browser, so the coordinates are worked out there — but they come to us along with the rest. The name is optional; leave it empty and the matching runs the same, fill it in and it is kept too.
How long it is kept
Until it is deleted. A matching does not expire on its own — it stays in the record. Ask and it will be removed; how to ask is written below.
Why it is kept
So that when a mistake turns up in a calculation we can check it against past matchings, and so that anyone who asks for their own matching again can be given it. Several calculations in this engine improved in exactly that way.
Who can see it
One private page, opened with a password, limited to the Kundli Milan Jyotish team. Nobody else sees it.
Not sold, not shared
Your birth details are not sold to anyone, not given to any advertiser or matchmaking service, and they never reach the analytics either. What the analytics does receive is listed separately below; your birth details are not in it. If the law demands it, it may have to be handed over; beyond that it goes nowhere.
If you want it removed
Write one email — kundlimilanjyotish@gmail.com — giving both dates of birth and roughly when the matching was run, so the right record can be found. It will be deleted and you will be told. The same address will tell you what is held about you.
What is kept about the PDF payment
Whatever the payment window asks for — card, UPI, bank, email or phone — goes straight to Razorpay and stays with Razorpay; none of it reaches our store. We keep only this: the payment ID, the amount, the time, the status, which matching and in which language, and a one-way fingerprint of the two birth details that cannot be turned back into the details. That is so one payment stays tied to that couple's report, and so we can find your payment if anything goes wrong.
Measurement and error monitoring
This site uses Google Analytics (Firebase) for two purposes — to see how much the site is being used, and to catch where something breaks.
The page opened and the time spent on it; the browser, device and screen type; an approximate location at country or state level derived from the IP address; and technical errors encountered on the site.
No name, date of birth, time of birth, place or coordinates is ever sent to the analytics. All of that stays on our own server, as set out above. What does go: which page was opened, which language, whether a matching completed and how many gunas it came to (one number, 0 to 36), whether a PDF was taken, and an error code if something broke. That number leads back to no one.
Google Analytics stores an identifier in your browser so that one visitor is not counted twice. That identifier is not tied to your identity.
Besides Google’s analytics we keep this much on our own server: which page was opened and when, which page you arrived on, where you came from (Google, another search engine, another site, or directly), how long you stayed, which language you read, a rough country, region and city (Cloudflare supplies this; we run no lookup of our own), and the type of device and browser. **We store your IP address nowhere** — not in our records, not in any file; it serves the request and is gone. (Cloudflare stands in front of the site and keeps its own logs; those never reach our store.) Nor is anything kept that would recognise you on a later visit — the session number lives in one browser window and dies with it.
Cookies can be blocked in your browser settings, or Google's opt-out can be installed. The site and the matching both continue to work in full.
This page is only as true as the code — what is written here is what happens, and if it ever changes, it will be written here first.
Enter both birth details
Date, time and place — the more exact all three are, the more exact the matching. It still works if the time is unknown.
