Two complaints come up again and again in Indian homes. The first: "We earn well enough, but the money never stays." The second: "There is money, but no ease or happiness in life." In Vedic astrology, both usually lead back to the same two planets — Jupiter (Guru or Brihaspati) and Venus (Shukra). Jupiter is the karaka (natural significator — the planet that "carries" a subject) of wealth, wisdom, children and fortune. Venus is the karaka of comfort, luxury, the arts and the spouse. Both are natural benefics (kind by nature). This article is not a general list of money remedies. It stays with these two planets: what they give, where they are strong or weak, which houses they rule for your ascendant, when their periods and transits act, and how to please them with simple remedies at home.
Let us be honest at the outset. No mantra, donation or fast makes money rain overnight, and no remedy can promise a fixed result. A remedy done with regularity and faith steadies the mind, supports the good a planet can give, and guards against hasty decisions. Venus and Jupiter are also the two significators of marriage, so in a married home their story involves both partners' charts. All four kundli milan reports made by the Kundli Milan Jyotish team are built on that idea — two charts read side by side, with remedies for the relationship and the present time.
Venus and Jupiter — Two Different Doors to Wealth
In jyotish, wealth is not one thing. One part is money arriving, growing and staying — its main significator is Jupiter. The other part is that money turning into comfort, beauty and ease — that belongs to Venus. This is why some people earn a great deal yet live without much joy, while others earn modestly and still keep a lovely, contented home. Where the two planets are balanced, there is income and also the good sense to use it well.
In the Puranas, both are teachers. Brihaspati, son of the sage Angiras, is the guru of the devas; Shukracharya, son of the sage Bhrigu, the guru of the asuras. In the classical table of natural friendships, Jupiter treats Venus as an enemy, while Venus treats Jupiter as neutral. That is not a quarrel — only different priorities. Jupiter says, "Save with thought, earn by right means." Venus says, "Enjoy life, live with beauty." A good financial life needs both voices.
What Venus Signifies
- Comfort: a good home, vehicles, pleasant furnishings, clothes and jewellery.
- Luxury and beauty: decoration, fragrance, fine food, the brightness of a home.
- The arts: music, dance, painting, design, fashion.
- Love and marriage: in a man's chart, the significator of the wife; in both partners' charts, of married happiness.
- Harmony: sweet manners, the art of compromise, smooth partnerships.
In money matters, Venus makes sure that what you earn actually shows up as happiness. When Venus is under pressure, two opposite things can appear — a distance from comfort altogether, or overspending on show. Both are forms of an unbalanced Venus.
What Jupiter Signifies
- Wealth: savings, accumulated money, capital that grows slowly.
- Wisdom: the sense of right and wrong, learning, the ability to advise.
- Children: together with the 5th house, Jupiter signifies children.
- Fortune and dharma: through the 9th house — merit, blessings, the support of elders.
- Husband: by tradition, Jupiter signifies the husband in a woman's chart.
- Teachers and elders: teachers, father-like figures, advisers, priests.
Jupiter's wealth is quiet. A strong Jupiter lets a person move ahead gradually, honestly and with good advice. Savings hold, and in a difficult phase someone usually appears to help. Astrologers often say that whatever house Jupiter aspects is protected.

An honest note on the last row: the old text Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra names Indra as Jupiter's deity and Shachi (Indrani) as the deity of Venus. Linking Venus with Lakshmi and Jupiter with Vishnu is a later, very popular tradition. Both paths are devotional and harmless.
Own, Exalted and Debilitated Signs
The first question in judging any planet is its sign. In its own sign a planet is at home; in exaltation it is at its brightest; in debilitation its strength is held down.
| Planet | Own signs | Moolatrikona | Exaltation | Debilitation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Venus | Taurus, Libra | Libra 0 to 15 degrees | Pisces (deepest at 27 degrees) | Virgo (deepest at 27 degrees) |
| Jupiter | Sagittarius, Pisces | Sagittarius 0 to 10 degrees | Cancer (deepest at 5 degrees) | Capricorn (deepest at 5 degrees) |
Moolatrikona is the part of a planet's own sign where it works in an especially settled way.
What Exaltation and Debilitation Mean
Venus is exalted in Pisces, Jupiter's sign of compassion. Here pleasure rises above self-interest — love turns selfless and money brings the joy of sharing. Venus is debilitated in Virgo, Mercury's sign of measurement and detail. Here even pleasure gets weighed; a person may have everything and still notice only what is missing.
Jupiter is exalted in Cancer, the Moon's sign of care and family. Wisdom joins the heart, and wealth often grows through belonging. Jupiter is debilitated in Capricorn, Saturn's sign of hard, practical work. Guidance and faith feel thinner, and money asks for more effort. This is a different test rather than a flaw — such people often build everything on their own strength.
Neecha Bhanga — When Debilitation Is Cancelled
A debilitated planet is no reason to panic. The texts give rules of neecha bhanga (cancellation of debilitation). The simplest: if the lord of the sign the debilitated planet occupies, or the lord of its exaltation sign, is in a kendra (the 1st, 4th, 7th or 10th house) from the ascendant or the Moon, the weakness is largely cancelled.
- For Venus in Virgo: Mercury (lord of Virgo) or Jupiter (lord of Pisces) in a kendra.
- For Jupiter in Capricorn: Saturn (lord of Capricorn) or the Moon (lord of Cancer) in a kendra.
Some texts add further conditions; weighing them together is a job for an experienced astrologer. Our pati-patni report checks exactly this for the marriage significators Venus and Jupiter — if one is debilitated, has neecha bhanga cancelled the weakness?
Combustion, Retrogression and Distance from the Sun
When a planet comes very close to the Sun, it disappears in the Sun's glare. This is combustion (asta). By the traditional reckoning, Venus is combust within about 10 degrees of the Sun (about 8 when retrograde), and Jupiter within about 11 degrees. Texts differ slightly on these figures.
A useful fact: Venus never moves more than about 47 degrees from the Sun. So in every chart, Venus sits in the Sun's own house or one or two houses on either side — which is why a combust Venus is quite common. Jupiter can be at any distance from the Sun and becomes combust roughly once a year for a few weeks.
A combust planet does not lose its results; they arrive muted or delayed. With a combust Venus, comforts may be present yet feel less pleasant. With a combust Jupiter, it may take time to trust one's own judgement. The remedy is that planet's mantra, worship and daan, given below.
Muhurta tradition reflects the same idea. When Jupiter or Venus is combust in the sky — popularly the "setting of the star" — weddings and house-warmings are usually not fixed. This is a muhurta custom, not a reading of your birth chart.
Retrograde (vakri) means a planet appears, from the earth, to move backwards for a while. Jupiter is retrograde for about four months every year; Venus roughly once every nineteen months, for about six weeks. The texts give a retrograde planet chesta bala (strength from motion), so it is not a sign of weakness. Its results simply do not travel in a straight line — old matters return, and the person thinks more deeply about that planet's themes.
Which Houses Venus and Jupiter Rule for Each Lagna
A planet also brings the work of the houses it rules — and that depends on your lagna (ascendant, the sign rising in the east at birth). In a North Indian chart, the number in the top-centre diamond is your lagna: 1 Aries, 2 Taurus, 3 Gemini, 4 Cancer, 5 Leo, 6 Virgo, 7 Libra, 8 Scorpio, 9 Sagittarius, 10 Capricorn, 11 Aquarius, 12 Pisces. In a South Indian chart, the lagna square is marked, often with a diagonal line.
| Lagna | Venus rules | Jupiter rules | In short, for money |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aries | 2, 7 | 9, 12 | Venus rules wealth, Jupiter fortune — their link forms a dhana yoga |
| Taurus | 1, 6 | 8, 11 | Venus is lagna lord; Jupiter rules gains, and the 8th too |
| Gemini | 5, 12 | 7, 10 | Venus rules intelligence; Jupiter rules two kendras |
| Cancer | 4, 11 | 6, 9 | Venus rules comfort and gains; Jupiter rules fortune |
| Leo | 3, 10 | 5, 8 | Venus rules career; Jupiter rules intelligence and children |
| Virgo | 2, 9 | 4, 7 | Venus rules wealth and fortune — the key money planet |
| Libra | 1, 8 | 3, 6 | Venus is lagna lord; Jupiter rules effort and debt |
| Scorpio | 7, 12 | 2, 5 | Jupiter rules wealth and intelligence — the key money planet |
| Sagittarius | 6, 11 | 1, 4 | Jupiter is lagna lord; Venus rules gains |
| Capricorn | 5, 10 | 3, 12 | Venus is yogakaraka, lord of a trikona and a kendra |
| Aquarius | 4, 9 | 2, 11 | Venus is yogakaraka; Jupiter rules wealth and gains |
| Pisces | 3, 8 | 1, 10 | Jupiter is lagna lord and lord of career |
Reading the Table
- Virgo: Venus rules the 2nd (wealth) and 9th (fortune) — its strength is tied directly to money and luck.
- Aquarius: Jupiter rules the 2nd and 11th (gains), and Venus is yogakaraka (lord of both a kendra and a trikona — highly auspicious). Both planets are pillars of wealth here.
- Capricorn: Venus rules the 5th and 10th and becomes yogakaraka.
- Scorpio: Jupiter rules the 2nd and 5th — wealth, intelligence and children in one planet.
- Aries: if Venus (wealth) and Jupiter (fortune) sit together or aspect each other, a dhana yoga (wealth combination) forms.
- Sagittarius and Pisces: Jupiter is the lagna lord, protector of the whole chart; for Taurus and Libra, Venus is.
Ruling the 6th, 8th or 12th House
For several ascendants, these planets also rule the 6th (illness, debt, rivals), the 8th (sudden events) or the 12th (expenses). That does not make them "bad"; their results take on that house's colour. For Taurus, Jupiter rules the 8th and 11th — gains often come by hidden routes such as insurance, inheritance or research. For Libra, Jupiter rules the 3rd and 6th — income through effort and competition, with care over loans. For Sagittarius, Venus rules the 6th and 11th — gains, but avoid borrowing to buy comfort.
This matters because it decides whether a gemstone suits you. Mantra, worship and daan calm a planet — they are safe for every ascendant. A gemstone, however, increases the planet's whole strength, including that of its difficult houses. So wear a gemstone only after a qualified astrologer has seen your full chart; the stone of a planet that needs calming can work against you.
Wealth Yogas Built on Venus and Jupiter
A yoga (planetary combination) shows a possibility; when and how much it gives depends on the planet's strength and the dasha.
- Malavya yoga: Venus in its own sign (Taurus, Libra) or exaltation (Pisces) in a kendra from the lagna — one of the five Pancha Mahapurusha yogas. Charm, good taste, a feel for the arts, comforts of home and vehicles.
- Hamsa yoga: Jupiter in its own sign (Sagittarius, Pisces) or exaltation (Cancer) in a kendra. Learning, respect, and wealth that grows slowly but steadily.
- Gajakesari yoga: Jupiter in a kendra from the Moon. To be fair, it is very common — by simple arithmetic, about one chart in three. If Jupiter is debilitated or combust, its effect stays light.
- Linking the wealth houses: when the lords of the 2nd, 5th, 9th and 11th connect with each other or the lagna lord, a dhana yoga forms. For many ascendants these lords are Venus or Jupiter.
- Jupiter's aspect: Jupiter looks at the 5th, 7th and 9th houses from itself. In the 6th it aspects the 10th, 12th and 2nd; in the 3rd, the 7th, 9th and 11th. An aspect on the 2nd or 11th supports money.
- Venus and Jupiter together: wealth and comfort both, with an inner tug — save or spend. In a good sign, the person learns to balance the two.
Weak or Strong? Judging Venus and Jupiter in Your Chart
No single factor decides strength. Look at these together — the more that favour the planet, the steadier it is.
- Sign: strength in own or exalted sign; weakness in debilitation (check for neecha bhanga).
- House: good in kendras (1, 4, 7, 10) and trikonas (1, 5, 9); mixed in the 6th, 8th and 12th. By tradition, Venus in the 12th also gives comfort and rest.
- Combustion: too close to the Sun, results are muted.
- Malefic company: Saturn, Rahu, Ketu or Mars with or aspecting the planet puts it under pressure.
- Benefic support: Jupiter's aspect on Venus, or the Moon or Mercury beside it.
- Navamsa: the planet should be well placed in the navamsa (the divisional chart for marriage and inner strength). The same sign in both charts makes it vargottama — especially steady.
Hints That Show Up in Life
Tradition describes some common hints. Treat them only as hints, never a verdict — the same pattern can come from several planets and houses.
- Venus under pressure, often: little pleasure despite money; repeated borrowing for comforts; small frictions with the spouse; overspending on show.
- Venus strong, often: sweetness in manner, good taste, a lovely home, gains through partnership.
- Jupiter under pressure, often: not getting or not taking sound advice; money stuck in hasty decisions; savings that don't hold; distance from elders.
- Jupiter strong, often: people come for advice, progress is slow but sure, elders bless, support appears in hard times.
Because Jupiter signifies children, some people link any delay in children directly to Jupiter. In practice the 5th house, its lord and both partners' charts are read together. And one clear line: astrological remedies go alongside a doctor's treatment, never in place of it.
A Worked Example — Both Planets in One Chart
An imaginary chart shows how these points fit together. Lagna: Virgo. Venus in Libra in the 2nd house. Jupiter in Capricorn in the 5th. Saturn in Virgo in the 1st. Moon in Pisces in the 7th. Sun in Scorpio in the 3rd, about 20 degrees from Venus.
- Venus rules the 2nd and 9th for Virgo, sits in its own sign in the 2nd itself, and is not combust — a strong money planet for this person.
- Jupiter is debilitated in Capricorn. But Saturn, lord of Capricorn, is in the 1st (a kendra), and the Moon, lord of Cancer, is in the 7th (also a kendra) — neecha bhanga. From the 5th, Jupiter aspects the 9th (fortune), 11th (gains) and 1st (self).
- Remedies: Friday Lakshmi worship and the Venus mantra suit this person, since Venus carries their money and luck. Thursday worship is worth keeping too, as Jupiter is debilitated, though cancelled, and rules the 7th — the spouse.
The dashas would then show when each planet's promise ripens.
Dashas — Twenty Years of Venus, Sixteen of Jupiter
In the Vimshottari system (a 120-year cycle of planetary periods), each planet rules a mahadasha. The order: Ketu 7, Venus 20, Sun 6, Moon 10, Mars 7, Rahu 18, Jupiter 16, Saturn 19, Mercury 17 years. The Moon's nakshatra at birth decides the starting period. With the Moon in Bharani, Purva Phalguni or Purva Ashadha, life begins in the Venus period; in Punarvasu, Vishakha or Purva Bhadrapada, in Jupiter's.
The Venus mahadasha is the longest and follows Ketu. Jupiter's sixteen years follow Rahu's eighteen, and many experience it as settling down after a confusing stretch. Inside each mahadasha run nine antardashas (sub-periods):
| Mahadasha | Antardasha | Approximate length |
|---|---|---|
| Venus | Venus | 3 years 4 months |
| Venus | Jupiter | 2 years 8 months |
| Jupiter | Jupiter | 2 years 1 month 18 days |
| Jupiter | Venus | 2 years 8 months |
The rule: years of the mahadasha × years of the sub-period planet ÷ 120. Jupiter within Venus: 20 × 16 ÷ 120 = 2 years 8 months.
What the Periods Bring
In the Venus period, comfort, home, vehicles, the arts, love and marriage come forward — how much depends on Venus's strength and lordships. For Capricorn or Aquarius ascendants, a strong Venus period often brings growth in work and fortune; for Virgo, it touches both money and luck. For Sagittarius, gains come through effort and competition, and restraint with loans helps.
In the Jupiter period, learning, children, dharma, teachers and the growth of savings come forward. For Aquarius, it is directly a period of the houses of wealth and gains; for Sagittarius and Pisces, of the lagna lord — confidence and direction grow. For Libra, earnings come through hard work, with an eye on health and borrowing.
Jupiter's sub-period in the Venus period, or Venus's in Jupiter's, brings two benefics together. If both are reasonably placed, these years often coincide with marriage, setting up a home and happy family events. Still, results come from the whole chart, not a planet's name alone. Tradition advises giving priority to the mantra and daan of the planet whose period is running.
Jupiter's Transit — Support That Changes Every Year
Gochar (transit) is the planets' present movement. Jupiter stays about a year in a sign and circles all twelve in about twelve years. So around the ages of 12, 24, 36, 48 and 60, Jupiter returns to its birth sign — often a time of new learning or new responsibility.
Transits are counted from the Moon sign (the Moon's sign at birth). Count your Moon sign as first, then count forward to Jupiter's present sign. If your Moon is in Taurus and Jupiter in Cancer — Taurus first, Gemini second, Cancer third — Jupiter is in the 3rd from your Moon. By the classical rule, Jupiter's transit is favourable in the 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th:
| Jupiter from the Moon | Usual effect |
|---|---|
| 2nd | Support for money, family and speech |
| 5th | Support for intelligence, children, studies and plans |
| 7th | Support for the spouse, partnerships and marriage |
| 9th | Fortune, dharma, blessings of elders |
| 11th | Gains, income, wishes fulfilled |
| Other positions | A slower year — weigh big decisions, keep Jupiter's remedies steady |
Please do not read "other positions" as a bad year. Jupiter simply brings less outside help — more effort, less haste. A transit always works with the dasha: a good period softens a weak transit. Venus moves fast, about a month in a sign, so its transits act only briefly.
Many families check "guru bal" when fixing a daughter's wedding date — Jupiter's transit from her Moon sign — and "surya bal" for a son. This is a muhurta tradition; where guru bal is low, it prescribes Jupiter worship and a yellow daan — not stopping the marriage.
Remedies to Please Venus — Fridays
These remedies are harmless and can be done at home by anyone. Decide in advance how many days you will keep them, then keep them without a break.
1. The Venus Beej Mantra
'Om Draam Dreem Draum Sah Shukraya Namah'
Begin on a Friday morning after a bath, in clean clothes — white or light-coloured if possible. Chant one mala (108 times) daily for at least 43 days without a break. Tradition favours a crystal (sphatik) mala, but any clean mala will do. Slow, clear chanting is better than rushing the count.
2. Lakshmi Worship on Fridays
Clean the place of worship. Light a ghee lamp before Goddess Lakshmi, offer white or pink flowers, and offer kheer or rock sugar. Then chant this short mantra 108 times:
'Om Shreem Mahalakshmyai Namah'
If you have time, add the longer Mahalakshmi mantra:
'Om Shreem Hreem Shreem Kamale Kamalalaye Praseed Praseed Shreem Hreem Shreem Om Mahalakshmyai Namah'
Those who enjoy recitation can read the Shri Suktam or the Kanakadhara Stotram on Fridays. Share the kheer with everyone at home — Venus is the planet of pleasure that is shared.
3. Daan of White Items
On Fridays, within your means, donate rice, milk, curd, rock sugar or white cloth — to a family in need, a temple or a service organisation, wherever it will be used at once. Helping a girl from a struggling family with her studies is also traditionally held to please Venus. Let daan be regular rather than large.
4. Respect for Women, Your Spouse — and Beauty at Home
Jyotish holds that the comforts of Venus do not stay in a home where women are disrespected. So the biggest remedy lies in conduct — speaking to your spouse with respect and warmth, and valuing the views of the women of the house. The rule runs both ways: mutual respect between husband, wife and every member keeps Venus calm. Venus is also the planet of beauty — a clean, orderly home, fresh flowers, a light fragrance, and an art such as singing, drawing or rangoli all suit its nature.
5. A Friday Fast, If Your Health Allows
Many families keep a Friday fast — one meal, with white foods such as kheer or milk. Fast only if your health is good; otherwise the worship and mantra are a complete remedy.
The Gemstone of Venus
The gemstone of Venus is the diamond; opal or white zircon are suggested substitutes. Wear one only after a qualified astrologer has seen your whole chart. For Libra lagna Venus also rules the 8th, and for Sagittarius the 6th — a diamond there, unchecked, may not suit you. The stone of a planet that needs calming can work against you.
Remedies to Please Jupiter — Thursdays
1. The Jupiter Beej Mantra
'Om Graam Greem Graum Sah Gurave Namah'
Begin on a Thursday morning after a bath, in yellow if possible, facing east or north-east. Chant one mala (108 times) daily for at least 43 days without a break. Tradition favours a turmeric or tulsi mala; a rudraksha mala works too.
2. Worship of Vishnu and Brihaspati on Thursdays
Before Lord Vishnu, light a ghee lamp, offer yellow flowers, apply a tilak of turmeric or sandalwood, and offer chana dal with jaggery. Then chant 108 times:
'Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya'
Reciting the Vishnu Sahasranama (the hymn of Vishnu's thousand names) on Thursdays is a widely loved remedy for Jupiter. If you cannot read all of it, listen with devotion, or chant the mantra above. Many homes read the Brihaspativar vrat katha and offer water to a banana tree — a folk tradition, and a harmless one.
3. Daan of Yellow Items
On Thursdays, within your means, donate chana dal, turmeric, jaggery, bananas or yellow cloth. Jupiter signifies knowledge, so giving a child books, notebooks or study material is the most beautiful daan for Jupiter.
4. A Thursday Fast, If Your Health Allows
The Thursday fast is popular across North India, Gujarat and Maharashtra. Tradition begins it on a Thursday of the bright fortnight and keeps it for sixteen Thursdays, though every family has its own custom. Usually there is one meal, with yellow foods such as chana dal or gram flour. If you have diabetes, are pregnant, are elderly or unwell, ask your doctor first. If you cannot fast, worship, mantra and daan are a complete remedy.
5. Respect for Teachers and Elders
The most direct way to please Jupiter is to honour your gurus — teachers, parents, grandparents, anyone who has taught you. Speak to them with respect, take their blessings, look after their needs. Giving some time to teach a child is service to Jupiter too. Jupiter is the planet of dharma and one's word: keeping promises and staying away from earnings made by deceit are also Jupiter's remedies.
The Gemstone of Jupiter
Jupiter's gemstone is yellow sapphire (pukhraj); citrine (sunehla) is a suggested substitute. Again, wear it only after a qualified astrologer has seen your full chart. For Taurus lagna Jupiter also rules the 8th, for Libra the 6th, and for Aries and Capricorn the 12th; in such charts an unchecked yellow sapphire can work against you.
A Simple Weekly Routine for Both Planets
| Day | What to do | How much |
|---|---|---|
| Thursday morning | Bath, Vishnu worship, Jupiter beej mantra, a yellow daan | 108 chants; daan within your means |
| Friday morning or evening | Lakshmi worship, Venus beej mantra, a white daan | 108 chants; daan within your means |
| Daily | The beej mantra of the planet whose dasha runs, or which is weak | 108 chants, 43 days without a break |
| Daily | Greet elders with respect; speak kindly to your spouse | As a habit |
Keep These Points in Mind
- No remedy promises a fixed result. Done with regularity and faith, it gives support.
- Daan always within your means; never borrow to give daan or pay for a puja.
- When money is tight, sensible spending goes alongside astrology — write down expenses, start a small saving, avoid high-interest loans. Spending wisely is itself Jupiter's remedy.
- Fast only if healthy. Astrological remedies go alongside a doctor's treatment, never in place of it.
- Do not blame any single family member for money troubles — not the daughter-in-law, a child or your spouse. A family's time is shared.
Venus and Jupiter in a Couple's Charts — Your Own Remedies from Our Report
Venus and Jupiter are not only planets of money; they are the main significators of marriage. In the husband's chart Venus signifies the wife; in the wife's chart Jupiter signifies the husband, and Venus signifies married happiness in both. So in a married home, happiness and fortune are never fully read from a single chart. The husband's Venus may be under pressure while the wife's Jupiter is strong — then balance comes through her good judgement. Both may be running a heavy period at once — then both need remedies together.
Money decisions at home — savings, big purchases, loans, children's education — are taken together. When the two are in tune, these decisions come easily; when they are not, small matters turn into arguments. This is why the Kundli Milan Jyotish team created the Pati-Patni Kundli Milan for married couples. Prepared from both partners' dates, times and places of birth, it looks at:
- Temperament match — the koots (matching factors) linked to nature.
- Mars — impulse, and whether a Manglik yoga is calmed within the chart itself.
- The 7th house — how each deals with the spouse.
- The marriage significators Venus and Jupiter in both charts — strength by own or exalted sign, debilitation, neecha bhanga, and the navamsa too.
- The Moon — each partner's mind; and speech — the 2nd house.
- The present dasha and Saturn's transit — the current time for both.
- Remedies and a weekly schedule — which remedy on which day.
To be honest: our report does not predict money; it does not say how much will come or when. It reads both charts for the bond at home, the state of mind, the present period, and the remedies for these. If it finds the husband's Venus or the wife's Jupiter under pressure, that planet's remedies are placed in the weekly schedule — fitted to your own charts. After payment, the full result opens on the site right away; the full report comes as a PDF with both partners' own charts, the complete method for each remedy, the weekly schedule, and "Your questions — straight answers".
For those not yet married, there is the Vivah Kundli Milan — the 36 gunas of the Ashtakoot (eight-factor matching), Manglik, Nadi, Bhakoot, the classical exceptions to doshas, and remedies. Venus and Jupiter play a part here too. The Graha Maitri koot (5 points) looks at the friendship between the lords of the two Moon signs. If one partner's Moon sign is Taurus or Libra (ruled by Venus) and the other's Sagittarius or Pisces (ruled by Jupiter), this koot gives only half a point of five — Jupiter treats Venus as an enemy, Venus treats Jupiter as neutral. But it is one koot of eight. The other koots, the exceptions and both full charts are weighed together, and a low score by itself is never a reason to stop a marriage. Our report does this full weighing and tells you where care is needed and what the remedies are.
Frequently asked questions
Which matters more for money — Venus or Jupiter?
They do different jobs. Jupiter governs money arriving, growing and staying — savings, sound advice, fortune. Venus governs the enjoyment and use of that money — home, vehicles, comfort, brightness. Also check which houses each rules for your ascendant: for Virgo lagna, Venus rules both wealth and fortune; for Aquarius lagna, Jupiter rules wealth and gains. So the answer to "which is bigger" differs from chart to chart.
If Venus or Jupiter is debilitated, will money never stay?
Not at all. A debilitated planet means that area asks for more effort and understanding; it does not mean a closed door. In many charts, neecha bhanga cancels much of the weakness. The house, aspects, navamsa and dasha also change the results. With the planet's beej mantra, steady worship and daan, and sensible spending, people with such placements build sound finances too.
Can I wear yellow sapphire or diamond without showing my chart?
Please don't. A gemstone raises the planet's whole strength — for its good houses and its difficult ones alike. For example, for Taurus lagna Jupiter also rules the 8th, and for Libra lagna Venus also rules the 8th. Wear a gemstone only after a qualified astrologer has seen your full chart; the stone of a planet that needs calming can work against you. Mantra, worship and daan are safe for everyone.
What should I do if Jupiter or Venus is combust in my chart?
A combust planet in the birth chart gives its results in a muted or delayed way; it does not lose them. The planet's beej mantra, worship on its weekday and daan of its items are the direct remedy. When Jupiter or Venus is combust in the sky, muhurta tradition usually postpones weddings and house-warmings. Worship, chanting and daan can continue during those weeks as usual.
Who should keep the Thursday fast, and how?
Anyone in good health can keep it — one meal in the day, with yellow foods, Vishnu worship and the Brihaspativar katha. Tradition often keeps it for sixteen Thursdays. If you have diabetes, are pregnant, are elderly or take regular medicines, ask your doctor first. If fasting is not possible, worship, the mantra and a yellow daan are enough on their own.
Why does the pati-patni match look at Venus and Jupiter?
Because they are the significators of marriage. In the husband's chart Venus signifies the wife; in the wife's chart Jupiter signifies the husband; and Venus signifies married happiness in both. When a significator is under pressure, expectations and dissatisfaction with the spouse can grow. Our pati-patni report reads their strength in both charts, along with the navamsa, the current dasha and Saturn's transit, and then gives remedies and a weekly schedule.
How soon does a remedy show its effect?
There is no fixed date, and no remedy can promise a set result. The 43-day rule exists so that both the mind and the habit change. Many people first notice calmer thinking, clearer decisions and a softer mood at home. Outer results come along with the dasha and transit — so make the remedy a long-term habit rather than a quick test.
